Why we are building YoDMIN
Every engineer knows the morning that starts with repeating the same actions. We decided to put them into one tool.
Like many teams, we accumulated a "household": several servers, services, configurations, and daily routine operations. Over time it became clear that the most expensive part is not the operations themselves but the context switching between them.
What we wanted
- one point of entry instead of dozens of addresses and panels;
- predictable, verifiable changes;
- a journal of every action, so it is always clear what changed and when;
- the ability to roll back when something goes wrong.
That is how YoDMIN appeared — an internal tool that grew into a separate product. We publish only what does not reveal internal mechanics: the product is alive and evolving, while details stay behind the scenes.
A good tool is one you do not have to think about.
